Documentation

OutSends documentation hub.

A practical map of the product: setup, campaigns, senders, contacts, automation, team, billing, and trust.

Start here: first campaign checklist

  1. Sign in with Google OAuth.
  2. Connect your first Gmail sender from Senders.
  3. Import a small contact list and map variables.
  4. Create a template or sequence with an unsubscribe line where required.
  5. Launch a small campaign, review tracking, then scale gradually.

Campaigns

Create controlled outreach campaigns from your contacts, templates, sender accounts, and tracking settings.

  • Campaign builder overview
  • Subject/body personalization variables.
  • Scheduling, pacing, and per-sender safety.
  • Open/click tracking and unsubscribe handling.

Senders

Sender accounts control how email leaves OutSends. Use Google OAuth for Gmail, or supported SMTP/API providers when needed.

  • Sender setup overview
  • Google OAuth sender connection.
  • SMTP/API sender verification.
  • Rotation and sender health checks.

Google OAuth & Gmail sender setup

OutSends requests gmail.send only to send emails you create, schedule, or explicitly launch from your connected Gmail account.

  • OutSends does not request gmail.readonly and cannot read your Gmail inbox.
  • Google OAuth is used to authenticate users and connect Gmail sender accounts.
  • Gmail sending is subject to Google account limits, provider limits, plan quotas, anti-abuse controls, and applicable law.
  • Read the Google API Limited Use disclosure.

Contacts

Contacts are organized into lists and enriched with custom fields for personalization and reporting.

  • Import CSV, TXT, or Google Sheets.
  • Use lists, tags, and notes to segment outreach.
  • Keep suppression and unsubscribe records clean.
  • Use the email cleaner before large sends.

Automation

Automations connect triggers to sequences so follow-ups can run without manual rebuilding.

  • Automation overview
  • Form-triggered workflows.
  • Sequence delays and stop conditions.
  • Reply, bounce, and unsubscribe exits.

Team

Team workspaces let owners invite members, share quota, and keep outreach activity visible.

  • Team collaboration overview
  • Invite members with the correct Google account.
  • Owner/Admin/Member roles.
  • Shared quota and member activity.

Billing

Plans control usage limits, seats, sender accounts, tracking domains, and support level.

  • Plan comparison
  • Monthly and annual billing.
  • Trials, extra email credits, and upgrades.
  • Cancellation at the end of the current billing period.
Tip: If you are new to outbound, start with a small verified list, one sender, and a conservative schedule. Scale only after replies and bounce rates look healthy. Sending through Gmail and SMTP always remains subject to Google account limits, provider limits, plan quotas, anti-abuse controls, and applicable law.
